Bean is a 14 month Malti-Poo weighing a whopping 6 lbs. She is like her name, a "Jumping" Bean, prancing like a princess through the house, playing with dollies and her furry foster siblings.  She loves to chase toys, and is learning to bring them back. She is a little shy but always jumping up for snuggles and belly rubs. She appears to be nicely housetrained, and will give an alert bark when needed.  Bean the tiny Malti-Poo girl is fostering in New York.

My name is Bonnie. I'm a 1 year old, 12 lb. female Chihuahua Mix. I'm a super sweet girl who just wants to play and romp about. I'm still in the puppy mode, so I have tons of energy. I get along great with other dogs no matter how big or small, cats and kids too, but for some reason I'm afraid of men who wear baseball hats. I love going for walks and car rides, and sleeping in the big bed. I really enjoy playing with other dogs, as well as running around in the yard. I'm doing really well with my housetraining, and making excellent progress. I would really like a home with another doggie pal to play with and a fenced yard. If you like giving ear rubs, I'll be yours forever.

Beau is a very active 17 lb. one year old Shih Tzu / Pomeranian Mix boy. He loves to play with toys, and gets along with other dogs, kids and even cats. One of his favorite places to sit is right by your side on the couch. Beau will let you pet him for hours. He is very curious and wants to see everything that's going on. Beau is doggie door trained and walks short distances on a leash. He is being fostered in NE Florida and waiting for his furever home.

Dude and Gizmo are 15 month old Shih Tzu brothers. Dude is the biggest at 14 lbs and Gizmo (Gizzy) is only 8 lbs. They are available to be adopted together or individually but love being together. Dude & Gizmo love to play together, and romp and bounce about. Both pups are very affectionate, and love humans. They are well-behaved and working on housetraining and use the doggy door nicely. These boys would do best with a person who will be able to keep them on a regular potty break schedule even if you do have a doggy door.  The precious Shih Tzu brothers are fostering in Northeast Florida.

Meet "Lil Punkin", an 8-10 year old female Shih-tzu that was found wandering the streets and brought to the local shelter. Punkin is a sweet, loving little girl who is housetrained but has some medical issues that make her a "special" baby. She is completely blind and only has one eye and although.this does not hinder her from moving about, but she does need assistance and is learning to rely on sounds to navigate. She has grade 3-4 luxating patellas in both back legs which gives her a bowlegged walk, but does not bother her and she can still scamper around quite well! Click to Continue...

This is Cricket, she is a precious, slightly chubby, 13 year old female Shih Tzu. Cricket was adopted through this rescue several years ago, and when her adoptive daddy passed away, she came back to our safety net. Cricket is a small cream colored Tzu who has a very friendly, sweet disposition, loves to get tummy rubs and loves to be cuddled.
