Meet Miss Chloe, a beautiful Chihuahua girl who is approx. 7-10 years old and weighs about 7lbs. Chloe is white with beautiful fawn colored accents, one of which actually appears to be heart shaped! Chloe has big brown eyes that tell a story and will melt your heart instantly. This little Chi is a sweet and gentle soul who will need a quiet home with lots of TLC so she can continue her lifestyle as a "Lady of Leisure". Perhaps due to her age or genetics, Chloe has a back condition, which causes her to prefer to "lounge around" most of the day. She ambulates slowly but daily supplements have made a big improvement in her mobility and overall health. She is extremely lovable, very energetic, weighs 14 pounds and is 11 years of age. She loves walks on the leash and rides in the car. There are no cats in her foster home, but she sure does perk up when she sees one while out on a walk! Cassie is completely housetrained and has no medical problems. Meet "Lil Punkin", an 8-10 year old female Shih-tzu that was found wandering the streets and brought to the local shelter. Punkin is a sweet, loving little girl who is housetrained but has some medical issues that make her a "special" baby. She is completely blind and only has one eye and although.this does not hinder her from moving about, but she does need assistance and is learning to rely on sounds to navigate. She has grade 3-4 luxating patellas in both back legs which gives her a bowlegged walk, but does not bother her and she can still scamper around quite well! Here’s Lucky! Lucky is a handsome Shih Tzu boy, 6-8 years old, who was turned in to a high-kill shelter by his owners who were moving. He’s still a little thin at 13 pounds, but since he loves to eat, that should be corrected soon. He loves his foster mom and gives nice kisses with a little tongue that sticks out the side of his mouth. Lucky is perfectly house trained, with absolutely no accidents and no marking, and he walks well on a leash. He also loves car rides! He doesn’t particularly like to be left alone, but has adjusted just fine to his foster mom’s comings and goings. Benji is an 8yr old 15lb orange Pomeranian. He is a lovely, cuddly pup, though a bit tall for his breed. It is hard to believe this sweet little boy was so terribly neglected. His eyes look funny because has "Uvitis", an inflamation of the eyes that left untreated, caused him to become blind. It is not correctable, and Benji will be on two eye medications the rest of his life. But he's pretty good about taking them...although there are times he does try to squish his eyes shut!
