Chris the Pekingese mix is a darling five month old little boy who thinks that his night is not complete unless he has spent a few hours snuggling in his foster mom's lap. Chris will probably weigh 10-11 lbs when full grown. This happy, sweet puppy, whose mom was a petite Pekingese and his daddy most likely a Pug, loves everybody in his foster home, from young children to adults. Is that not a gorgeous face?!?! Meet Gable, as in Clark Gable, a handsome Pomeranian boy who is approximately 4-5 years old and weighs 10 pounds. Gabe's coat was very matted when he entered rescue and he received a lion's cut as a result. But don't worry, his thick lush coat is growing in perfectly - and we think we looks just adorable anyway! Not quite a "parti-pom", Gable has very unique markings on his creamy buff colored fur - sable colored ears! Gable is sweet and a bit shy with excellent manners and a very loving disposition. Hi everybody! I am so excited to begin my search for my new forever home. I was stuck in a Shih Tzu puppy mill until several weeks back when I was rescued. As you can see from my picture, I'm kind of an "outsider" because I'm not a Shih Tzu. However, I am a precious little seven pound Terrier girl who loves to be held. I'm about one year old so I love to run and play with other dogs. I have a great temperament and am friends with everybody! Cricket was adopted through this rescue several years ago, and when her adoptive daddy passed away, she came back to our safety net. Cricket is a small cream colored Tzu who has a very friendly, sweet disposition, loves to get tummy rubs and loves to be cuddled. Hi, my name is Spazzy.  I know, it's a silly name, but I'm a silly Shih Tzu puppy girl.  I am a puppy mill survivor who had a rough start, but my foster family says that I am amazing.  I love to make my family laugh by dancing around and acting silly.  When they first met me, my foster dad said, "This one's a spaz" and the name stuck.  I have a beautiful face and the sweetest eyes.  I love to give kisses.  I am less than a year old, so I have lots of energy and love to play.  Some of my favorite things to do are play with squeaky toys, play chase, and go on new adventures.  I will do well in a family with children (preferably six and up) and a family with other furbabies, so I won't get bored.  I don't have a shy bone in my body.  I love everybody!  My ideal family would be an energetic one as I tend to get on the older dogs' nerves.  I have a best friend who is also looking for a forever home too.  We were kenneled together for a long time and have a sisterly bond.  I'd love to go to a home together with her, if possible..... Chi Chi is a 3 year old, 3 - 4 pound, tri-colored (mostly black and white) Chihuahua Princess. She came to us from a breeder in Florida and seems to have a true zest for life. She is house trained, good with other dogs and cats, but does tend to be a diva if she feels someone else is getting more attention than she is. This sweet little Chihuahua girl is very well behaved and just wants a warm lap to curl up on and cuddle for the rest of her days. When he's not prancing, he can be found lounging in the sun like a cat.
