Tigger - Male Yorkie
Tigger is a 5 year-old tiny Yorkshire Terrier, weighing a "whopping" 4.5 pounds, although he may have gained a few ounces in foster care. Tigger is a "Velcro dog" who loves to lounge in somebody's arms or lap, really adoring his foster daddy in particular, who is home with him during the day. This precious Yorkie has a wonderful personality, but he is a terrier, and tends to be protective of the humans in his home and wants to "run off" the visitors, but settles down quickly. He makes a wonderful doorbell! Tigger the Yorkie sleeps in the big bed, is wonderful with the other dogs in the house and generally ignores the resident cat, although he will chase her on occasion. He rides well in the car, is learning about the concept of walking on a leash, and is hard at work on his house training skills. Tigger needs a mostly at-home person, a fenced in yard, and another dog to continue to teach him how wonderful life can be. No small children, please, because he is so wee. Tigger the Yorkie is fostering in the Northeast.
