Gable - Male Pomeranian
Is that not a gorgeous face?!?! Meet Gable, as in Clark Gable, a handsome Pomeranian boy who is approximately 4-5 years old and weighs 10 pounds. Gabe's coat was very matted when he entered rescue and he received a lion's cut as a result. But don't worry, his thick lush coat is growing in perfectly - and we think we looks just adorable anyway! Not quite a "parti-pom", Gable has very unique markings on his creamy buff colored fur - sable colored ears! Gable is sweet and a bit shy with excellent manners and a very loving disposition. He is a real lapbaby who loves to snuggle and soaks up attention. He is working on his housetraining and has not quite gotten a handle on leash walking yet, but we're working on it! I guess when you're that gorgeous, those kinds of skills just don't seem all that important! ;-) Gable is very respectful of the other dogs in the house and is still exploring his foster home and learning "the ropes" -- such as, going up and down stairs, asking to go out, etc. He is not a yappy, bouncy Pomeranian (although he has recently learned that a little barking and tail wagging will yield extra attention!) - rather, he is quiet, sensitive and as snuggly as a teddy bear. Gable is fostering in the northeast.
