Dutch - Dachshund-Beagle Mix

Hi! My name is a Dutch and I am a sweet, snuggly mix-breed weighing (a slightly overweight) twenty pounds and am approximately 5 years old. Nobody's really sure about my ancestry, but many people think I'm a Dachshund-Beagle mix because of my beautiful, silky black & tan coat and sweet, loyal temperament. I walk very well on a leash and enjoy rides in the car, although I am perfectly happy just lounging around the house. My housetraining is nearly perfect and I use the doggie door like a pro. I get along really well with the other dogs here and just love getting new plushies! I love to play almost as much as I love to snuggle up with one of my foster parents on the sofa or under the covers in the big bed at night. Everyone says I am very sweet and would make a great family pet since I like other dogs, children and never bother the resident cockatiel. I know I am not a teeny, fluffy furbaby, but I think my sturdier size and sweet disposition make me a wonderful family dog! I would love a family where I wouldn't have to be alone too much so a stay at home parent or a canine companion would be just great. I am fostering in the northeast and searching for my furever family.
